Today's offering is a Whooper Swan - a fair number of them spend the winter here, most spend the summer breeding further north (for example in Iceland) but a small number do also stay to breed here.

30 Paintings in 30 Days - Day 12 Bit rushed today - lots of work to get sorted out before I head off for sunnier climes in three weeks time. This is a mixed media piece (featuring a collaged bird so it does fit with my theme for the week!). 6" x 6" card.
