30 Paintings in 30 Days - Day 18

My fourth painting of this week and the 18th of the challenge. Once again trying out the exercises in the Rolina van Vliet book "Painting Abstracts: Ideas, Projects and Techniques." I have to say i'm enjoying the exercises. I cover the example photos in the book and just work from the text as i'm conscious that I don't want to be influenced by them - I want to work from my own imagination and feelings.

This is mixed media (oil pastel, acrylic paint and tombow water-soluble markers) on A4 size mixed media paper.
